Happy New Year

January 5, 2016
So it's 2016 and I wonder what it will bring.

The Christmas break was lovely after a manic November and December of markets and Christmas Fairs.  My cat Twilight and I had a relaxing time of it watching TV and reading some books together. He bought me 'A Street Cat Named Bob' by James Bowen and that's next on my book pile.

I finally managed to find the time to update my Easy shop although there are still items to add on. Do make a visit and share the link if you can.  https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/SnugglySockimals

Events at this time of year tend to be regular markets and we will be pleased to start back at the weekly Whitchurch Country Market in The Gill Nethercott Centre next Friday 15th January. Other upcoming events will as usual be listed on Facebook.

Last chances for shopping

December 14, 2015
It's the last week of markets and Christmas Fairs at last. It's been a really busy few months and I'm still sewing!!!

This week you will see some new additions to the Available sale album on my Facebook page as I will add on all the currently made and ready to go Sockimals that would make great last minute pressies. Don't forget to allow plenty of time for posting or ask about prices for faster delivery options.

I am looking forward to spending some time knitting for my own pleasure over Christ...

Last Chances

December 8, 2015
Well we are on the final countdown of fairs before Christmas so do take note of any that are in your area. Many of the new Sockimals have not been posted onto our Facebook page so coming along to an event is a good place to get that first look at them.

I've also had to put in another order of socks as I've almost used all the pairs I had! That's a lot of socks that have been turned in to toys!

Just another reminder that all our toys conform to the EU toy safety regulations. They are safe from b...

Christmas Countdown

November 30, 2015
So the Christmas Countdown is below 30 sleeps now. My needle and thread is still busy as there have been lots of Sockimals going off to new homes this past week.

We've had some great fairs and met lots of new friends. Don't forget you can also buy from my Facebook page - see https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.167413893346065.44311.167296440024477&type=3 for our Photo Album of available ready to go toys.

Out and About this week

November 23, 2015
This week sees the start of the annual 2 week craft and Christmas Fair season. It seems everyone plans their events during these two weeks! Due to the early planning of some and the not so easy of others I am at a lot of places for the first time this year and having to miss those I have attended previously.

Four fairs for us this week and seven next so as you can imagine my needle and thread are busy and, thank goodness, a new fresh box of stuffing arrived today. The list below contains every...

Blustery Days

November 16, 2015
Last week we had a great time at the N Hants Mums Christmas expo in Chineham and a visit to the seaside with from the Craftbox in Hayling Island.

It's a another busy week coming up with fairs in Chineham, Chandlers Ford, Whitchurch and Oakley so my needle and thread is busy again. I'm also busy making candles as that's another one of my crafts that come along to some fairs.

The Sockimal kittens are proving very popular at the moment along with the large monkeys so if you are wanting to guarante...

Busy, Busy, Busy

November 9, 2015
November seems to have started mild but wet. The Sockimals are not impressed! They are, however, looking forward to all the Christmas Fairs coming up.

There are some new faces appearing that will be added to the range but as the light isn't brilliant today they are still waiting for their photos to be taken.

We were at two fairs this passed weekend and the Sockimal monkeys were being very cheeky whilst trying to attract attention to themselves. One got up to all sorts at the Milestone Living Hi...

Trick or Treat?

November 2, 2015
The Sockimals were pleased to join the Dollys Halloween Craft Fair in Hook last week. Our first time selling with them. Whilst it was a fairly quiet day (it was such a gorgeous sunny Autumn day) there will be a few Sockimals in christmas stockings following the event.
We are also pleased to be back at Whitchurch Country Market every Friday now until Christmas.

Our Easy shop is currently empty so there will be some work on that this week plus more new faces to be added on to the Available Sockim...

An Extra Hour

October 26, 2015
So theoretically this last weekend should have given me an extra hour of sewing. Somehow that just never happened and I'm not entirely sure why.

My car was in the garage last week having a cosmetic touch up over the wheel arch. Unfortunately this meant missing the weekly Whitchurch Country Market on Friday. Really hoping to start getting back there every week from this Friday.

There's been a few requests for the Sockimals to join in with some Christmas Fairs during November and December but as ...

Christmas is Coming

October 19, 2015
This week the first Christmas themed Sockimal has been completed. Looking out for a few more pairs of Christmassy socks so there should be more on the way.

I managed an evening out to see the live screening of Hamlet last week. Quite strange not having a needle and thread in my hand but a lovely evening none the less.

The Sockimals visited another new area at the weekend when we attended an Autumn Fair in Colden Common - they are getting about a lot these days! A few extra fairs booked in so do...
